re: Request to add Regulation Pickleball Facilities
The
Burke Centre Conservancy (BCC) Board of Trustees (BOT) is considering a
request to add Regulation Pickleball facilities in Burke Centre (BC).
Currently there are some neighborhood court locations with Pickleball
courts striped on existing Tennis courts which allows the courts to be
used for either Tennis or non-regulation Pickleball.
A
current proposal to the BOT from the Tennis Court Task Force (TCTF) is
to permanently convert 3 Tennis courts in one neighborhood location to
Regulation Pickleball courts only, and to keep one court at the same
location open for both Pickleball and Tennis. The BOT may also consider
permanently converting some Tennis courts to Regulation Pickleball
courts in other neighborhoods as well.
The
BOT is interested in member feedback. Your input is important to the
BOT as these decisions are made. All community members are invited
